Mentoring - Myth, Mystery or Must

Are you continually trying to find new ways to explain the concept of Mentoring to your colleagues or delegates?

Does your business or that of your clients need a firm effective mentoring system to be established in their workplace to ensure survival in this economic climate?

Would you like to become a more effective or informed Mentor for your own team?

Would you like to have a wealth and variety of Mentoring techniques and methods up your sleeve to pull out wherever and whenever appropriate?

Then the Mentoring - Myth, Mystery or Must workshop is your answer.

This is a fast paced 3-hour workshop concentrating solely on Mentoring skills and techniques. You will go away with loads of new ways and ideas to demonstrate and practise good Mentoring techniques plus a re-energised way to communicate effective Mentoring to your clients or colleagues.

The workshop is an ideal for your own personal development plus an excellent resource to take away and train your own delegates.

Do not forget all our workshops are designed for 3 levels of learning:

Level 1 - is for you to personally learn new information to become a better trainer/facilitator

Level 2 - is for you to use the skills to help coach/mentor other colleagues in the learning and development arena

Level 3 - is for you to use the information to put into your own workshops - these specific sessions will help you design your own workshops to be delivered

So you can choose a level you wish to develop.

Energiser Split the group into teams of 2, 3 or 4. Give each group a pack of playing cards.

In 5 minutes the group must build the cards into a structure which is taller than the other groups. This can be measured by numbers of cards high or by measuring with a ruler. (The structure which is the highest will be the one where the cards are placed closer together at the supporting end. This structure though is not the strongest and will probably fall down more easily.) This energiser works well if it is repeated a number of times during the course as the delegates will wish to exceed their last height record once they see the different methods.
