Ideal for those times when you want to surface the feelings of your participants in a non-threatening way.

The Q cards have words and pictures on them and your group can pick a card where the words or the picture "speaks" to them - the participant then finds it easier to talk through the card and explain their thoughts/feelings than if you had asked them to speak out without a prop.

Lay the cards face up on the tables and get them to choose a card which represents how they feel at the present time - can also be used as an icebreaker to identify how they feel working in their organisation or department.

For advanced facilitation - ask them to pick a card which explains how the workshop is going for them.
